Good friday Mar 29th - Golf and Fish Fry

The last couple of days (Wed and Thurs) were spent sorting out Derek's new computer, admin, laundry, taxes, booking sites for when we return to Arizona etc.

A happy camper after a great game

Today was a day for golfing and fun. We played a round at Dorado golf club with neighbours from the resort (Scottish couple, Jim and Kathleen) We had a fabulous time and laughed and joked our way round. Actually Jim who is a good golfer was having a rough game, but both Janice and Derek played one of their best rounds. Kathleen was steady, straight down the middle every shot and great putting. It is a short executive par 3 and 4 course, and sightings of turtles, huge fish, lizards, and picking grapefruit and orange off the trees added to the day's enjoyment. Janice loves the fresh grapefruit. Just something very special about fruit straight off the tree. After the game we headed to a different golf club (Rolling Hills) where they were holding a Good Friday fish fry, all you can eat for $9. It was great fish and chips and a good time was had. Back at the RV resort Jim and Kathleen joined us on our patio for a few drinks and snacks and we re-lived the day with more than a few laughs.
